Question:
After installing ConsoleWorks 3.0, my default console_manager password no longer works.
Answer:
Passwords are now case-sensitive. The default console_manager password has
been changed in order to draw attention to this new security feature. Your
documentation will provide the new password. Also, be aware that you will
be required to change the password at your first login. (When upgrading from
previous versions, this question does not apply. The existing passwords
for all users will continue to work. New password-strength features will
apply, if so configured, at your next password change.)

Question:
Inactivity events (CONWORKS-QUIET) are not being rolled up.
Answer:
This is intentional. Inactivity events are treated in a different manner
from normal events and are not eligible for event rollup.

Question:
Will I need to obtain new licenses for ConsoleWorks 3.0?
Answer:
If you are upgrading from ConsoleWorks 2.x, you will need to obtain
only a single license that allows the ConsoleWorks server to recognize
version 2.x licenses. Customers upgrading from earlier versions will need
replacements for all existing licenses. Please contact TECSys Development
Customer Support at 800.695.1258 or
support@tditx.com to obtain either type of license.

Question:
Why didn't my password expiration dates carry over from V2 to V3?
Answer:
ConsoleWorks version 2 stored an absolute date for password expirations,
whereas ConsoleWorks 3 stores a number of days from the last password
change. During upgrade, it is unfortunately not possible to calculate
the proper values. You must set the password lifetime field by hand, or
contact TDi support for assistance, at 800.695.1258 or
support@tditx.com.
